As far as i know it's been 8+ months that you guys (superchips) acknowlegde the problem with the 2805 (duramax) programer, yet you havent fix the problem. then you try to say it has nothing to do with the chip itself but with the way the person installs it.
i wonder how much buisness you can hold by giving people like my self stupid excuses.
any one interested in a programer for a duramax i will not recomend it! i can't speak for other models only #2805

Well, if you have done your research, you would read on this forum that we have been working on the progam to HELP, an issue that happends with whoevers brand tuner or power inhancers, and have been beta testing the new files for weeks now. We have choosen a few people here on this site to test for us and they have had good results.

Have you tried the work around, with giving the trans enough time to learn?
I see no mention on what results you have had.
Ron

Yes i have tried "working around the problem" but it seems you guys made this for the 5 speed automatic allison transmission. i have a 6 speed automatic and no mater what i do it will de-fuel on performance mode. the problem is not with 2005 and under models, it's with the 2006 and up. i've tested this personally and was suprise to see that an 03 duramax had no problem shifting, but was more surprising was that it was faster than my 2006 duramax.

in simple terms it does not work on the 6-speed allison.

i have the same exact problem with the #2805 tuner on my 2007 lbz. no
matter what i do the tranny will not respond properly. drove the truck for
100mi under normal operation and the allison never learned to shift.
also updated tuner as i was instructed by flashpaq and still no change.
very very disappointed with this tuner. i also talked to a big shot gmc
service rep who advised me to package the tuner up and send it back
before it does damage to my tranny. he also said that the bully dog tuners
are allison friendly and have no problems. i will find out soon if i have
damage when the truck goes in for service next week. tranny is acting
very funny even when i go back to stock mode now.

serial# 1266409 [this is the only# on the unit besides the model#]

Is flashpaq ever going to get these programers straight? Is it even
safe to keep any of the program in the truck? paid $50,000.00 for
a decked out dually and i would perfer to keep it cherry for a long
time. I believe i will take it out completely until flashpaq has an iron
clad solution to this serious problem.

Update the tuner, and try the latest download. Lets see if that helps.
Let me know how it goes.
