Ron,
Received an email today Re. the new Vivid Linq tuner which uses a Droid phone for tuning.
I have an older Superchips 1805 Flashpac Tuner (s/n 1249302) on my Ford 2004 F350 SD.
What I need to know is:
1. Does the newer tuner offer any advantages over my existing Flashpaq or is this just an eaiser access to the programs I allready have?

The Vivid is really the same thing as a Flashpaq, just with the wireless monitor to view PID gauges and mileage coach.

I used to have a flashpaq and switched to diablo cause i thought they might be better and they arent. I am looking at getting the linq and have a droid razr phone. If i get this setup is it possible to get the trans tuning option. This is the thing that will make my decision. I want to adjust shift points on my 04 1500 hemi and diablo just wont do it. thanks.

The Linq would have the ability to do the advanced trans options.

So if i buy a linq and start using superchips again what would i need to do to get the advanced trans option? Also do you now have the option of throttle body relearn. Where can I find the options of what the linq will do? thanks.

You can add the advanced trans option to the Link, just like a flashpaq.

We do not have throttle body relearn on our tuners.

The options are the same as a flashpaq.

Dodge/ Chrysler / Jeep products do not have this ability. Due to the large programs that the computers have.

For LINQ is the memory stored in the LINQ module itself or on the phone?

The Linq is the storage unit.
The Phone is the viewer.
