After doing some research about Hughes net I have found out why they have an issue while trying to downloading our software. Hughes has a FAP “Fair Access Policy” what this means is that they are limited on how much they can download in a 24 hr period. They are only allowed 200 megs per 24 hrs unless they have signed up for more which most have not due to the increase in cost.
Web surfing, downloading or streaming movies/videos…ect…eat up their allowed Megs and that is why our program does not work with this service.
Just wanted to let you know why it does not work with our update software. If they don’t understand when you explain it to them refer them to hughesnet.com’s FAQ’s.
