A good starting point for using the shift adjustments is using the SC setting. This gives you a chance to see the middle setting of the tuning.
So you can adjust higher or lower based on your driving habits.
The shift adjusments do not effect MPG.
MPG tuning:
The more power added the less one would have to be into the throttle to acheive the sames speeds= less fuel used.
91 octane no towing, light throttle, no excessive speeds.
