I have a Flashpaq 1805 that I purchased a year after I purchased my Ford F-250 new in 2006. I just traded it in for a new 2012 Ford F-250.

I'd like to sell my 1805, but I believe it my be locked to the VIN of my old truck. Any ideas on this?

Did you return the old truck to stock?

If you did you can resell the tuner. If not then the tuner would need to be unlocked.
You can do this on line with the updater program.

Yes, I did return it to stock, but when I connected it to my PC, I see that the VIN, engine and transmission code from my old truck are still in there. How does that effect anyone who might want to purchase the device?

The question of the day is what does it say under (Power level).
If it says stock then you are good to go.

It will always show that last vehicle VIN and files, until yours is populated.
