I have a Linq 118650 the 87 and performance tunes work fine, but when I try to tune the 93 octane the vivid app gets to 100% then I get a "programmer error" then it goes into recovery mode. I ran the update after trying the second time and there was no available updates. The third try still had the same outcome so for now I'm running the 91 octane performance tune with a full tank of 93+ gasoline :) help me out here please I was anxious to try the 93 octane tune.

What is the year and model of the vehicle?

What is the serial number of the tuner?

Have you updated the LINQ?

Ron

Hi Ron,
I apologize for taking so long in getting back with you bout this problem however it appears as there are way more issues with this product than I first reported. Not only am I still experiencing the 93 octane tune issue but when I go to the 91 octane tune advanced features and try to change from superchips value on the spark adjustment to stock the shift pressure goes back to stock too even when I select it again and pick extreme value. I tried this and the shifts are back to stock when I drive the car and when I reopen the application it shows the values to be " Ingition advance Superchips value " when I had selected the stock value, " Shift Pressure Stock Value " when I had selected the extreme or wild value. I can tell the values are correct since the throttle response is still higher than when the ignition advance is set to the SP value and the shifts well thats just the difference between between night and day. My question is why did I pay $ 350 for a product that SHOULD be out of the beta phase by now? The first shipment I received was a bad apple so I had to return it and the rep " Drew " told me you guys would cover the return shiping. When I received my replacement Linq there was no reimbursement check in the box, however their was a letter from edge products stating that the unit had been found to be defective and here is my new replacement unit which the letter states " we have replaced your module with an updated version. Your replacement product has been tested for proper function, and passed. " I called and was told you guys would cut me a check for the amount of the return shipping since I had included the receipt inside the box I returned the defective unit in. Its been a month now and there still has not been a check in my mailbox for the shiping. This unit was RMAed the first day I received it, Ron Im not taking this out on you rather the engineers and mainly the owners of the company that allow this type of situation to exist. If a product is in Beta and not what people are paying for dont sell it as a finished product period.
The model number is 18650
I have this istalled in a 2012 Ford Mustang GT
The serial number is 200235424

BTW you might be asking yourself " why do you want to return the timing to the stock setting anyway? " I run nitrous also with the receint issues I have experienced with this Linq and the software, I am concerned with dropping cylinder #8 since this has been an issue with the coyote engines on a tune. I lost confidence that this programmer is a reliable and safe tuner / programmer and I fig I have paid enough until this product is out of its Beta stage and up to the final release edition that I thought I was paying for.

The nitrous setup is my main concern. That motor runs lean enough from factory.
I do not want you to run this product with your combo. I would recomend to return the tuner for a refund.

I will have to validate this with some testing with the engineers about the concerns in the operations of the tuner.

If you have any issues with returning this product, let me know, I will back you up.
Ron
