My programmer will not update and download the mileagexs setting. Any tips or advice?

Ok, we are ready.
Make sure that the truck is back to stock settings, and update the tuner. This will add the MXS option to the tuner.

This did not work. I went to my pickup and tunned it back to stock. After the tune change I no longer saw stock on my options. Went inside and plugged in the programmer, and it said it was uptodate. Never ran the DTS circle thing so I am not sure what to do.

Just to keep you up to date on what I did. I also tried removing superchips from my cmoputer and creating a new log in name to see if that would help me update the programmer. It did not. I am at a loss.

Hey this seems to have worked. Is it suppose to say MileageXS Save? If so then everything is good. I have the tune installed and all is well. Thanks again guys, your the best.

I now have a problem with the tune mileagexs. My truck will intermittently turn off the radio and reset it back to 1:00 and the CD player will not play a song for more than 45 seconds. It is the resetting of the clock that makes me think it is the mileagexs tune. It does the same thing when you install a new tune. Any suggestions?

You can put the truck back to stock and see if it happends there, but my gut feeling is that the radio may be on its way out. This is not normal, but the processes of the engine computer telling all the modules to be quiet during tuning, and it is not coming back alive when power comes back to it.
