I took my 05 6.0 Powerstroke in for injector replacement with the performance setting still programed on vehichle, I did not return to stock prior to repair. The shop flasehed my truck to the mose recent factory stock settings. When I hook the programmer up to the truck it stilll reads as programmed performance settings as that is where is was the time the the programmer was connected to the truck. However but it is not - I can tell the power is not there as it was before and the smoke is not coming out of the tail pipe as it did on performance setting when you get into the throttle.

Is there a way to save the new stock program on the truck and get it programmed back to performance setting.

What is the tuners part number?

What type of codes does the tuner display when trying to retune?
Ex. E-6D or E-3A?

The tuner will tell you the last tune it programmed, when you plug in. This does not mean that it is still in th vehicles computer.
