I just received my Flashpaq 3865 today. Upon receiving it, I installed the Easy Update Software so I could update the tuner before tuning my truck. The software opens fine, and when I connect the tuner it says that it's analyzing the hardware, but nothing happens after that, and the software eventially freezes up.

I've tried multiple USB cables, multiple USB ports.

I had a flashpaq previously, and had the old version of the updater software, which I uninstalled. I made sure that everything from the old version has been removed. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the current updater. Nothing has helped. Pretty discouraging for a new product that I just took out of the box.

Have also tried another computer, installing the update on this computer, which has never had superchips software on it. Same issue...I think I've pretty much eliminated everything I can think of on my end.

I refuse to even tune the truck until this is solved, if the updater software won't even work correctly, I'm not going to deal with tuning issues on the truck right away as well.

I had a 3865 once before and ended up having to send my PCM and tuner overnight back to Superchips because of an "update."

After about 2 hours of playing around, the software decided it wanted to work.

It says it's up to date. Can anyone confirm this? Here is what's on it.

Diesel DB V001
Car DB V190
Gas Truck DB V540

That is the lastest updates for that tuner.
