I've read that once you calibrate your speedometer for larger tires, your transmission and your axle gears are also calibrated automatically to compensate for the larger tires. Is this true?

If not, what is changed when you calibrate your speed-o for larger tires, just the speed-o or transmission shift points too?

It does not recalibrate the t-case gears, just the :
Speedo
Trans shift points
Odometer
