wife has been driving the Jeep from time to time as her car is in the panebeaters
and yesterday it came up with with P1594

1.
not that I need the Flashpack to check and reset the code, however seeing that I have the tool, thought that I would use it

it did not pick up any codes/faults and could not reset it

have been trying to do the update, however have not been successful yet

could someone please shed some light on not reading the codes

2.
from what I have read, and understand, if the battery gets disconnected it will not loose its new map
as I found a possible bad contact on the battery terminal, I disconnected the battery to repair the bad connection
do I need to reload or is it still installed

have not driven the Jeep, its not our DD

all help will be appreciated

1. P1594 code was thrown meaning Charging System Voltage Too High.
I googled the error code and Jeep, I found someone who discribed the same issue, and a scan tool from autozone could not read the codes either.

2. No worries about disconnection the battery voltage, this will not effect the tuning.
