I have new 3875 tuner for my Jeep Commander, I was trying to update the device today and got various results and not sure if I’m ready to plug it in the Jeep or not to make a tune.

Once I got “(W1) There was an error Uploading Flash Memory file.” And once I got “(W1) There was an error Uploading EEprom file. Error 5”

And also got the "(2) A key exchange error has occurred." and "(M4) A read tuner data error has occurred." And followed the procedure in the forum and it seems worked and then I got “Vehicle’s file has been saved , Check for updates at a later Date”

And then I got the same error “(W1) There was an error Uploading EEprom file. Error 5” again !!

So I’m not sure what to do next !!

SN :200183783

Vehicle: XH Jeep Commander 5.7 VIN: 1J8H358237Y522221

Firmware: 01150A

These errors are all surrounded your connection to the internet or a securities preventing the web based program from getting to the tuner.

Internet connections have to be a minimum of WIFI connection backed by a hardline connection or straight plugged into the router. Broadband or Cellular connections do not work to update with.

PC securities, like Virus scans, and pop up blockers.

If it continues I would recommend to try another internet connection.

Ron, I have followed the other thread about removing the usb driver and install again.

it seems worked for me and I reached this stage where it says "Device currently up to date" , check this image

Web://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg13 ... c3a016.jpg

but when I use it in the car to make a tune, it says "calibration file does not exist, please update your tuner"

!!!

I have sent this over to the calibrator to review the files.

We will contact you via email when the tuning is ready to download.

No, it is still with them.

This process can take 7-10 working days to complete.

Ok, try it again.
Make sure that the computers firewalls and virus scanners on the PC prior to doing the update.
