thank you Ron & team, it worked

haven't felt the boost yet, it might need a run or two and re-program to know the difference.

by the weekend, will get a dyno test with/without.

Ron, how about updating the tuner in the future, will be a chance it wont work??? or i might face the same issue.

I have to admit, Superchips do stand behind their products unlike some other tuners i tried earlier.

It is set to persist, so no worries when updating the tuner.

Since yeterday, i've tried all tunnings

87 wasn't much of a difference from stock
91 was bet better
93 is the one to go with, its more responsive and you can hear the tires spinning hard when padel is pressed hard even while the car was in motion about 10 to 15 KM/H

i will keep you guys posted with the outcomes

will be testing it in sand dunes this weekend.

Hey Ron,

Looks like I'm having the same issue as JKoman, here's the deal:

After updating the Cortex Programmer using the SuperChips Easy Update tool it was reporting:
Version: 01.05.06
Gas Truck DB: 142

I then plugged the Cortex Programmer into the vehicle and once it had completed the back up of the stock file, I received the following error message:
Vehicle calibration not on file, call Superchips use code E-6D, Filename: 1ZL33A

I then plugged the programmer back into the computer and received the following message from the SuperChips Easy Update Tool:
The calibration for your vehicle is not currently supported. Information about your vehicle has been sent to our engineers for analysis and you will be notified via email when a calibration is available for your vehicle. You may unplug your Programmer.

Before I unplugged the programmer from the computer I noticed the following under tuner Information:
Version: 01.05.06
Gas Truck DB: 143

The Cortex Programmer's serial number is:
1481253

Let me know,
Thanks

Scott, This may not be the same issue. Because the truck we were dealing with is a truck from the UIA and it is not the same as American trucks it seems.

Your process will take a few days, 3-4 for us to get the file written.

Ron

Hi Ron,

we have tried all tunes none was impressing at all, the xterra had better boost (from zero) at stock than superchips programming.

now, we have been driving the car on stock for few weeks and today had the tuner updated and tried to program the vehicle is says "your car is not stock" ???

Have you removed the tuning and tried it on stock to see what you are missing?

car's pick up was very slow, stock was much faster.
it works well while speed is above 30 to 40 KM/H, but we do go sand dunes offroading daring to climb the highest dunes and we are concern in car's pick up to get you a good start. the xmilage was great the car did gain an extra 80 KM from usual consumption

why I cannot program the vehicle after updating???
