I've ran my superchip tune with an AEM intake for about 8months now on my cobalt SS 08 TC.I've installed a zzp downpipe with highflow cat and my car had trouble on startup about 3 days later. When my 91 octane tune is on,the car goes down to 500rpm and then stall if i dont hit the gas pedal. I removed my chip yesterday and it started up normaly ever since. i've tried reinstalling the chip and the problem happened again. Could there be any error in the data? I live in quebec, canada btw it's winter atm.

We do not recommend that addition with our tuning.

Are you guys going to do an option for such mods to the car for the tuner? Spent 800$ on parts to mod the car to get a little more hp for the summer and i don't want to sell the tuner. I like that handheld thing and i don't know much about tuning.

What did they do to the car?
What was the outcome? Have you tried the tuning with the downpipe lately?

Went back to stock tune since first post. Talked with zzp customer service and they suggested me to buy hp tuners(500$) and send them my engine files so that they can tune em. Kinda tired of spending money on my car and still having problems, thats why i was asking that question.

No, I do not think we will have a downpipe file with our products.

is the zzp downpipe the one with the correct angle for the O2 sensor? i've heard that some downpipes cause issues if the spot where the 02 sensor is installed is not at the stock 60 degree angle.

Okay...this forum seems to time you out if you dont type fast enough...seeing as this is my thrid time trying to type this. Soooo I will shorten it.
Are you popping a CEL code? If so its the O2 sensor. The ZZP pipe is high quality, and the 02 *^ is angled. Either check the o2 sensor or buy a new one.
Now if you dont have a CEL, then its probably 1 of 3 things.
AFR - The car is running to lean on start up. High Pressure Fuel Pump - The pump is starved for fuel Winter Blend Gas - Winter Blend Gas *h!!! Hurry up summer.
I have this same problem but I dont completely stall out. I, along with many CSS have this issue, and to my knowledge noone has really solved it. This issue has happened completely stock, and tuned for me. Only happens when car sits for while, and only when its cold. It hasnt gotten below 20 degrees here so, I imagine if got to the single digits my car would go bananas, and I would go ape (&.
I hope I shed some light on your dilemna even though I did not solve it, but dont feel bad alot of us are having the same issue.

I have been running the ZZP Catless down pipe and superchips tune for the last 7 months or so without any trouble . The car definitely gained power threw out the band with the down pipe installed . It's never given me any trouble at start up or idle . The DP has the angled O2 *^ so it doesn't throw a code or anything .
