I recently downloaded the K&N CIA tune. How do I know if it has installed itself. Or do i need to manually install it with my flashpaq?

Welcome to Superchip's forum!!

Your tuner should display the words K&N in front of your power level name.

If you chose the option you would have to go back and check your account and make sure that you check out at the end.

That will load the tune, also make sure that the car is programmed.

Okay so I have to tune it before it will say K&N. Is that only on the performance tune or will it be on all of them?

The car has to be tuned with a level, so that when you go to the online update, the software will recognize the vehicle. Then the option will appear in the online checkout as downloaded to the tuner. Then reload the tune in the car. It should show up then in the tuner.

I would check the account status, it should show you that it was downloaded to the tuner.
