The K&N tune is awesome. I was wondering if you had tunes for no cats to bypass the rear sensors?

It seems easy enough to do, but it is quite a bit of work on our end to make it happen. I am looking into it. I will keep you posted.

I also have long tube headers and x-pipes installed. Would my tuner have to be updated to accomodate that as well?

Yes, it will be a little longer for the long tubes only because there are quite a few tables that have to be changed for the car to run correctly. It is on our agenda, but will be at least a few months.

Any updates on the long tubes update? I know reversing and writing this stuff is tough but it would be awesome to have a tune that pulls a little more out of the cars.

any word on the tune for the long tubes or theh off road x-pipes? i was also wondering if that would fix the fuel richness. within the first ten minutes of starting my car while im driving it starts to choke and it idles rough. would that be due to the car needing a tune for the long tubes and the off road pipes?

I've got the BBK Long Tubes and the off road x-pipe as well. I don't have this issue.

Some long tubes cause this. It depends how far the O2 sensors are moved towards the rear of the car. They take longer to heat up when starting cold. They tell the pcm the car is lean when it is not, so the computer is adding excess fuel. Once they heat of, it will adjust itself.

yeah when it heats up the car runs fine except it still seems to burn more fuel than it should. When i first install the tune the gas mileage is good after check engine light kicks in and more driving has been done, the fuel mileage drops like 4-6 miles per gallon. If it's just the number that outta wack and it's not actually burning more fuel then i'm not worried about it. I'm going to check the gas mileage with out the computer to see if it's really getting less mileage. The car definitely seems to run better with the tune, but it doesn't seem as throaty as it was when i first installed the full exhaust.

I just picked up a used '07 Stang that has an off-road x-pipe. I've got a TBSS with the flashpaq and considered buying one for the Mustang too. But since there is no capability to turn off rear O2's I went to a local tuner. I can tell you, that before I had the rear O2's turned off, it smelled horrible, especially before it warmed up. The exhaust is much less smelly now that they are turned off. I didn't notice any problem with gas mileage though even with the check engine light on, maybe that has something to do with your longtubes and front O2's?

There are some other things that need to be changed as well to make it run better. You could be getting worse gas mileage. Email me and let me see what I can get worked out for a one shot file, mschimmack@superchips.com.

Without cats, the exhaust smell is pretty bad. It will get worse the richer the car gets. I put high flow cats as apposed to no cats because the smell would make me sick at a drive thru. There is no power gain to be had by removing the cats on these cars.

Totally agree. I've been looking for someone that wants to trade me their stock pipes w/cats for my off-road x-pipe. It's loud as hell too, cops hear me coming a mile away.

Where are you located? I might be able to get a hold of my stock stuff from m 07 still. I already have the off road x-pipe so you can have my stock stuff as I have no use for it.
