I pulled this tuner from my father's 08 Mustang 4.0L. I saw where the 1865 tuner is used on mustangs and ford f150's so I am attempting to use this 1825 tuner on my 03 F150 5.4L. I set the mustang back to stock to unlock tuner. Is this error code telling me I am an idiot and can't use it on my F150?

1825 will NOT work on the Pickup trucks. Just the cars.

E-2A=CAN Response Timeout error.


If this error occurs during programming session, try reading DTCs.If it still occurs it is the vehicle module, the ALDL port connection, the Tuner cable, or the Tuner hardware. If it occurs after programming it is possible the Superchips file contained incorrect data or was built improperly. If reading the DTCs work properly the Tuner may be using an incorrect communication sequence.
