just bought a 2865 flashpaq and installed the 91 tune.....and now am getting a bad ping around 4200 rpm with throttle angle of 65%any ideas why? the only mods that i have done are a vigilante 3600 and both sonnax servos. vehicle has 20k and i have had it since it was new. HELP

What grade of fuel are you running?
Got a aftermarket air filter?
Are the other mods for the trans?

AWD?
Bigger wheels/tires?
And it does not do this on stock?
In which gears? Only after the stall kicks in?
What are the conditions that this is happening?
Foot brake stomp?
Hwy passing?

yes its awd no it has stock tires stock wheels,only on 91 tune and all gears 1-4 at 4200 rpm 65% throttle angle and all types of driving hwy,stop/go any and all

Tuner is up to date?
What kind of miles are on the truck?
What plugs do you run?
How many miles on the tuning?

20,000 miles on the truck and servos are for the apply and release of the 2/4 band.yes she does love me and far as the tuner i did not bring it to work today i have to get back to you with the number thanks.Barry

What about the stall? My BBC has a 3600stall and wow its hard to not go crazy in traffic.

3600 stall in this vehicle does not feel like any other 3600 stall in any other vehicle.besides thats what jack from precision industrys said would work best in my vehicle.that converter has been in the truck for17,000 miles and works great. i dropped more time off 1/4 mile then most people with more mods then i. it still locks up at hwy speeds.=60 mph@2000  Rpms

I hear, you. Just want to make sure about things. Detonation is not common with the TBSS tunes. Unless we are over modified.
