TM=torque managment
The computer on the vehicle will limit the output of the drivetrain in various ways. Retarding the timing, throttle sesitivity.

These factors are base on the throttle position, and wheel speed.
When you remove or reduce the TM, the throttle sesitivity is increased (feels like more of a 1 to 1 feel to the throttle) and you are getting more power to the ground when you want it.

Can this programmer take out the TM on my pick up, or does it reduce it automatically.

The program will remove most of the TM on all tunes.

ok, thank you. I don't really understand why a company would want to reduce power from an engine. What would be the reason for this? Why reduce efficency? Oh well.

They put in the TM to save wear and tear on the drivetrain.
