Is there any update for the K&N 91 tune on a 2008 Trailblazer SS. I have the k&n filter and a jba catback exhaust. I am getting a pinging sound like detonation at full throttle?

I have the 2865 and I downloaded the k&N tune when it first came out.

Nothing has changed in the tuning.

When did the detonation start? After the exhaust?

How long have you had good service with the tune?

Any changes to the truck prior to this happening?

Ron

The exhaust was on before the tune and K&N. It has always ways done this since I installed the tune.

How long have you had the tuning?

How long has the air filter been on the truck?
Have you ever washed the filter? Did you clean the MAF meter after cleaning?

I put the k&n on installed the tune. I put it on when the tune first came out. Nothing got on the maf and the filter is still clean so it never needed cleaning.

How long have you had the tuning?

How many miles are on the truck?

I would recommend to remove the CAI and put the stock back on, and test the tuning from there.

It is possible that the combo itself may be too much flow for the tuning.
