Hey Guys,
I recently got my 4.88's installed, got everything up to par with my #2815 Flashpack. Drove it around with the "break in period" in mind and the truck felt new. Barely had to step on the pedal to get it going, it was great. Later on that night when I went to go pick the wife up the check engine light came on. When I plugged in my Superchips to read the code, I got "shift solenoid B electrical" message. When I took it back, he read it with his deal and told me that he got all the "shift solenoid B electrical" error codes. He then told me that this is due to a low voltage problem. He mentioned it on the work order/receit that my truck died when on the lift. He said because he got all the "shift solenoid B electrical" codes, that the first step should be to replace the stock battery which is at least 6 years old. So we did that and truck felt great again!
Today the wife was driving home and the check engine light came on again. Same error code, "shift solenoid B electrical." We are taking the truck back in tonight to have him look at it tomorrow, what can it be this time around? The truck was perfectly fine before gear install. Truck lags, feels like there is no power...
