I used my new 2815 for the first time this weekend. I have a 2006 Trailblazer SS (6.0) It asked me for the tire height, I went online to Tire Racks site and found my tires P255 50 R20 Goodyears. It said 30.1. I programed that in, It seems like my speedo is fast,(may just be me) but does that size seem right. Would it make much differents in the speed if I put in the wrong tire height?
Thanks for you help, Love the tuner so far, truck runs like a bull with dyamite up its A**.

gwbush,
Welcome to Superchip's Flashpaq Forums!!!

The correct way to program for tire height is physically measuring from the ground to the top of the tire within 1/4" increaments.

We do this for the following reasons that are different on all vehicles.
Weight of vehicle
air pressure
altitude
tire wear

Thnaks Ron I will remesure them and then reset the program. Do you have any spec for programing the TBSS 6.0 that I can try? Dont really want to do to much without knowing the limits of my veh that might harm it. It is stock.

Thanks

I would recommend the following for all out performance.
Perf tune
tire height corrected
speed and rev=SC
shift points and firmness=SC

I recommend to start with these settings and try it out and get used to the program and then go back to see what its got, by making your own settings.
Ron
