I haven't been able to connect with your server for several months. I constantly get "a ping error has occurred". I'm told by our IS manager that this means that the problem is on your end. Am I the only one having this problem. I've also gotten the error telling me to unlock the Superchips USB port. How do I do that? There is no option to unlock the USB port on the device.
I've been trying to connect since September and I paid good money for this thing with the understanding it can be updated via the supplied software. That hasn't been the case...

USB port locked, means that the attempts to update have locked the port.

This will require that the tuner be sent back into us directly for a repair.

Please call into one of our techs directly and we will set up a RMA to send the tuner back to us with.

What is your normal turnaround for this repair? Have you solved the USB port locked problem?

Turn around time is usually 2-3 days in house and shipping.

Usb port locked is a fact of nature with the tuner to protect the tuning from being hacked.

Is there a problem here? I returned it for repair on 11/22/11 Priority/insured. It was received in your facility on 11/28. I called last Monday the 5th. and was told that they hadn't gotten to it yet. I asked why and was told that there were lots of repairs ahead of me and that I had to wait my turn. I've owned and managed a computer service business for over 30 years and have never answered a service question with that reply. It doesn't leave a good customer impression of your company. If your repairs are backed up that far it doesn't speak well for your product, Today is the 12th. and I don't know any more now then I did then. Please see that my unit is repaired and returned in a timely manner. It hasn't worked since September and I've been given the run around, having me reinstall the application, reinstalling drivers etc. Finally you told me that it would have to be returned for repair. Please supply me with a return date and tracking number.
