Can you use one cortex on most trucks or do you have to get one spacific to your truck?

There are different model Cortex for the different makes. A Cortex for say a Ford will work for many model Ford cars and trucks. Same for the other makes.

Thanks Guys, I have been wanting to get one for my both my pick up(F150) and my Mustang. I found a guy wanting to sell one and tried to tell me that it was good for all gas and diesel trucks. I have looked at them on line and knew there where different model numbers for different trucks so....

But anyhow thanks guys!!
