Just joined and thought I would say hi, I purchased a 3815 used and just programmed my truck with it to gas savings. My truck is a 2005 dodge ram slt 1500 with the 5.7 hemi. Is there any custom program for this, I did install the software for it and updated it. Do I need to reprogram the truck with the updates that were done to the flashpaq. Thanks in advance and hope you guys have a great one.

Superchips does not offer custom tuning beyond what the tuner already offers.

Their is a advanced data acquisition program to tuner to monitor engine parameters.

P0404 " PCM has determined that the control circuit for the EGR system is out of range for the current engine operating conditions. Probable causes, failed EGR position sensor, open or short circuit, failed egr valve, failed egr pressure sensor."

Sounds like it has gone bad. I think they are pretty cheap, under $75.

So you are saying it could be a failed EGR postion sensor, valve or the pressure sensor ....any thoughts on what i should try first ....is it possible that the programmer did this.

I can not make a suggestion on what part to replace.

I don't want to tell you the wrong part.

404= EGR Pos Sens Rationality

I would clear he code and see how long it takes to come back up.

The tuning does not have anything to do with emission systems.

I would have to say I would consult a dealer or a good mechanic for a recommendation on which part to replace.
