Im pretty sure i already know the answer but ill ask anyway. I made the mistake of unlocking my tuner so i could tune someone elses truck, i thought about it long and hard, i guess i didnt do it enough. i have then so what got mad at myself and sold the tuner. its there anyway whatsoever that i can ever put the truck back to stock tuning, or overwrite the tuning thats on there?
All i have found is to carry it back to the dealer and have them reflash, well thats a great ideal, one problem, ford seem to cant get into the computer to do this, then later told me it wouldnt be the same tune that was on there, because of some reason. i think they didnt want to or didnt know how to do it, so they gave me a bunch of crap hoping i would buy into it.
But i figured i would ask. i can go back a few post ago and get the old s/n but not sure that would help. Thanks ron.

The terminalology that you can use is "Reflash with As built Data". Basically acting like the trucks computers (engine and trans) need to be reflashed to as built data.
Or if you bought another tuner, and we made a program to force the truck to stock.

i really dont care to have to have the stock file ever again just to option to change tunes. is there a tuner that is able to read the superchips file and save it is as a stock file? and be able to just start form there, and if i was to ever put it back to said stock it would be how it sets now?
is there any such tuner that will force it back to stock, or read the file as stock and work? or some way to get around it?
Thanks

If you bought another Superchips tuner, and we can make a program to force the truck to stock. No tuner out of the box will just tune over the no stock file. Ron

alright about how much would that run, just for the program to force it back to stock? i know a good avg of how much the tuners cost.
another questions, could this be done out of superchips warehouse, only reason i ask, im not to far my there im down a few miles in lakeland. but if i could bring the truck and new tuner by could it be done up there?
this will be something i would like to do in a few months form now.
oh also i know its not a very highly asked question but while i and the truck was there, since my truck is not stock, still n/a, but would someone there be able to do a dyno tune on it or maybe build a custom tune?
thanks ron
