hi, just had a quick question about the top speed limiter. my truck has alot of add on nothing more then the avg person would do, i have done my own little tweaks to it. anyways, i seem to cant go much over 115mph i think i might have hit 116 last night. its not even close to redline, just chillin at 115mph around 3400rpm. i have 3.73 gears also. just wondering if thats all my truck has, or does it still have a limiter on it. meaning the factory limiter just moved form 98 to 115. thanks.
if the limiter is still on the truck, is there any tune that could just remove the limiter altogether?

You would go to advanced tune and raise the speed limiter. This will raise it higher than the truck will ever reach.

i have went to that area i have everything maxed out that i can with the tuner i even have the new cai tune which i love. so i take it thats all my truck has then? thanks

Post up the tuners serial number and I will verify that it is raised.
Is the engine hitting a rev limiter? Is it cutting out?

right after i got this tuner i do believe i had to have the tuners redo something in it because it wouldnt even tune the truck. to answer your question it almost acts as it hits a stand still point no matter what throttle im at, if i let off to much it starts losing speed i floor it and it takes a while to get back up there only form a 5mph drop. when i hit the 115 mark, im at half throttle and about 3500rpm i can floor it and it will act as it downshifted and the rpms will go up, but no mph gain, let off a bit and it will kick into overdrive im guessing and the rpm will drop back down, having a bit of a lower rear end gear i know im going to redline quicker at a lower speed but something isnt acting right. i have even drove it down a hill where i could have extra force pushing it and still havent seen over the 116. my tires are 275/45r20 z rated not sure if that has something to do with it, they are ajusted correctly in the tune.
