I just recently installed the air raid junior intake(filter and tube) along with two cat dual with bbk x-pipe and bullet mufflers.

You would need to download a filter tune for the CAI that is on the truck.
On the 2004 trucks I recommend to use the perf mode, for best results.

Thanks, I'm not sure there is a download for my particular intake, but if I'm not mistaken it does basicly the same as the "gotts" mod. I had the Perfomance tune set for a day or so, then after seeing some of the comments on here(and at time of fill up) I switched to the 87... I cant tell the difference(well I noticed it seemed to cherp second with the 87..proly something I unknowingly changed). That being said, did I read that the cpu has to learn the new program over a period of time?

On the 04 5.4L trucks
87 perf= 25hp and 28ftlbs of torque at 4700rpm
91 tow = 11hp and 11ftlbs
91 perf = 27hp and 30ftlbs @4100rpms
They are very close between the 87 and 91 tunes.
You can take a look at the design of the setup, against the models we cover, and determine which tune to use.
Computers take 40-75 miles to relearn your driving habits.
