Hi Ron, ok, I sold my Dmax years ago but kept the tuner. I returned the truck to stock then put the flashpaq in the tool box and forgot about it until a friend of mine asked me about the tuner and said he might have a buyer for it.

I dug it out and plugged it in to update it and the tuner says the tuning is stock but it still reflects the vin of my old dmax. The friend was supposed to try it but I told him that I wanted to find out if I screwed something up or not.

Is the tuner indeed unlocked and ready to be installed on another vehicle?

On the 2805 tuners, all you will have to do is power it up on a vehicle, and go to tuning and then to view settings. In the view settings, area it will show the status of the tuner "returned to stock".
