hi i have 2004 lb7 and 2805 tuner while in performance mode thats usually where i keep it seems to get the best mileage...
i lefy my headlights on and ran down the batteries all the way tried starting engine no start just clicks so i jump started with cables it started i drove off got on freeway when i came to the first stop i noticed it idled rough it ran rough and it was hard to start there after but what i mean i had enough battery power it was hard to start when cold kinda looked like glow plugs were bad. i disconnected the batteries for about 10 min and i still had the same problems i plugged the tuner in and it said something about line ends i could not use the tuner at this point i up dated the tuner then i was able to use it and put it back into stock mode it kinda ran better for a day but i new it was not right at this point no matter what setting i put it in still had problems i took it to the chevy dealer told them the problems i had they flashed it back to stock and all my problems have gone away its been two days now in stock and all is
fine.
My question is: i want to put it in performance mode but am reluctant to do so because i feel the stock setting that resides in the tuner is bad ..it didnt fix the problem when i switched it back to stock iam thinking if i change the tune now i will end up with rough running engine again or more prblems what should i do now my serial #is 1182786

thanks

Sante, give one of our techs a call directly and we will set up an unlock over the internet for the tuner. Also have you work order where they flashed the truck and the VIN.
