Bought a used 2805 Flashpaq and installed the tow/performance tune on my truck. Ran great so I decided to step it up to the performance tune. Ran good for a night then the next day it decided to throw the code P2564 for turbo boost control sensor. Cleared the code with the tuner then tuned it back to the tow/performance tune and its doing fine now.. Should I update? Is it a programming issue with the 80hp tune? Help please.. I really enjoyed the 80.

Truck is a 2005 Chevy Duramax with 4 inch straight pipe

Ron can I get some help?? Also threw a P0234 code for overboost today.. Ive only ran the Flashpaq for probably 50 miles and it threw the P2564 about 10 miles after programming to performance. Absolutely no codes or problems before running the programmer. Updated tonight and will try again tomorrow..

Serial # 1281854

P2564 Code.
Definition: Turbocharger boost control position sensor circuit low voltage.
Explanation: The ECM detected a low voltage from the Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor.
Probable Cause:
1-Open or short circuit condition.
2-Failed turbocharger boost control position sensor.

I would do some research on the internet about this issue. I used Google
(P2564 05' duramax)

Before posting here I did that for probably 2 hours and came up with all the same information. I dont see how a sensor can just all of a sudden go bad after I installed flashpaq tuning. I really regret buying this now. My truck was problem free before Superchips

What were you doing when the code came up?

From what I have read, this code comes up when you are really hammering the truck.

They call it a turbo Bark.

Tuned to tow/performance and drive for a while. Not over 1/2 throttle. Tuned the truck to performance, went into town and got into the throttle about 2/3 for a few seconds and let off. It was revved up in park a couple times but never over 2800rpm. Drove home easy on the pedal and let the turbo cool before shutting down. Started the next morning with the cel and code

Do a search on a search engine on the internet. This is not a uncommon issue with D-max trucks of that year.
