What is getting updated when I plug in for an update?

Hey so I keep plugging in every once in a awhile to see if there is anything new for the 7.3 on my flashpaq 1805. I got the MXS tune, and it's pretty great but I would like another tune or something. I plug in, it gives me 'updates' to the tuner, but when I plug into my truck nothing is different in the list of avail tunes.
So if there is nothing new, what did it update?
Will we get an email or something if something new comes out for the 7.3?

Oh - any idea what the MXS tune puts down on the dyno to an otherwise stock truck?

Our products are set in stone as they are. No new tunes in our off the shelf products.
