I have not plugged tuner into truck in a few months but have been making sure it has been updated. Today I plugged it in a see 2 new options. Idle set point and Spark Advance Set and when I followed instructions and it asked me if I was sure I wanted to use it I said no and exited program. Does anyone know what benefits these have and under what (* would you use these options. Should there be any limits to adjusting these.

What vehicle are we working with?

Idle set point would be to raise the idle to power up PTO's, and compressors for trail repairs. (Works only with tuner installed)

Spark advance is just that, allows you to advance or retard the timing, if you are having an issue with Pinging because of after market added ons.

I think I read somewhere it would not work on vehicle. 2002 Dodge Ram 4.7 was just curious about it.
