I have a 2000 Silverado Z71 with the 5.3L engine that i'm looking to get the most out of my SuperChips Flashpaq 2815....

Currently running bout a 29.5 tire (measured with the ruler)

Flowmaster Exaust

Stock air intake with a K@N filter

I wouldnt mind hp and tq but i'd prefer to squeeze every drop of gas outta this tuner

Anyone have a set up that they've seen realistic results? (obviously driving plays a role)

I do not have the option of downloading the Mileage XS program for some reason

Please let me know what your settings are and i'll try them out

Would prefer to avoid 91 octane unless you can tell me its gonna get 20 mpg or higher

What kind of HP and TQ should i expect with the SuperChips?

91 or better octane tune is the most bang for the buck.
18hp and 28ftlbs of torque to the wheels

87 tune, is going to feel better than stock, possibily 7-8hp and 10ftlbs

If you are looking for better mileage, I recommend to use the 87 tune, if you are running anything less than 91 tune.

I recommend to start off with the presets to the transmission at the SC level.
That way you can get used to the tuning and then go back and adjust to your driving habits.

What kind of MPG should i expect from the 87 octane tune? 91 octane tune?

Provided i dont drive like a maniac

Looking forward to seeing the improvements in the ol' silverado

Possible 10% gain in fuel economy on 87. 91 was not tested.
