I would like to know if I have the latest updates installed in my tuner?
Its the 3815 flashpaq.

I just got it for my 2004 dodge dakota 4.7l 4x4 truck.
I got if for the 87 economy tune.

The serial number is 1194412

I updated it again and it said updated from version 492 to version 493
My truck is a 2004 Dodge dakota 4.7L 4x4
do I need to plug the programmer into my truck and put in this new update?
any help will be greatly appreciated.

No, we update the programmers to add more tuned files to the database, for new calibrations from Dodge.
No need to reinstall the tuning, we do not change the way the truck runs, only update the database of the tuner.
